Smarter Money For Individuals
Fiscology isn't for everyone — and that's by design. The work we do here is specific, focused, and personal. These are some of the situations we typically work with.
You're doing fine on paper — but money still feels like a source of anxiety.
You earn enough, you manage, but there's a background hum of worry that doesn't seem to shift. It's not about the numbers. Let's talk about what's underneath them.
You and your partner see money completely differently.
One of you saves, one of you spends. Neither of you is wrong — you're just operating from different money beliefs. Understanding where those come from changes everything.
You keep making the same financial decisions, even when you know better.
Overspending. Avoiding. Chasing. The pattern keeps repeating and you're not sure why. That's not a willpower problem. It's a psychology problem — and it has a solution.
You keep spending in ways that don't reflect your values.
You know what matters to you. You know what you want to save for. And yet the impulse purchases keep happening, the credit card balance creeps up, and the gap between your intentions and your behaviour feels inexplicable. It isn't — it's psychological. And it can be understood.
Social media makes you feel financially behind.
The property ladder. The investment portfolio. The lifestyle that everyone else seems to be living. You scroll through it knowing rationally that it's curated and partial — but that doesn't stop the anxiety. The feeling that you're missing out on something, falling behind somehow, not quite measuring up.
You avoid your finances — and the avoidance is getting worse.
You don't open certain letters. You don't log into your account. You make vague plans to sort things out and then don't. The avoidance started as a way of managing anxiety and has become its own source of anxiety. That pattern has a name, a cause, and a way through.
What We Are Not
Fiscology is not a financial advisory service.
Sessions are not crisis debt counselling. If you are in acute financial difficulty, organisations such as Citizens Advice offer specialist support.
This is not a quick fix. Understanding takes time. So does change. What we offer is a thoughtful, evidence-based process — and a space to do that work in.
How it Works.
There's no fixed programme. The process is built around you — your situation, your pace, your goals. What stays consistent is the starting point: a genuine understanding of your relationship with money.
1
We start with a conversation.
A free 20-minute call — no commitment, no paperwork. We talk about what's brought you here and whether working together feels right. Book your complimentary initial session here
2
We map your relationship with money.
Using a psychologically validated assessment, we identify the belief systems, attitudes, and social pressures shaping your financial behaviours. The results become the foundation of everything we do together.
3
We work through it — at your pace.
Sessions are 45 minutes, online. Some people come for two or three sessions. Others stay longer. The pace is always yours.
